Team Update – William Lyons

Will Lyons joined the Pension Transfer team in September 2013 having migrated from the East Midlands in the UK. Will previously worked in the UK Pension Industry as Corporate Pensions Consultant and has attained the UK Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Financial Planning. He has also attained Advanced Diploma Pension and Investment Planning qualifications as part of his continued professional development.

Will has experiences of managing defined benefit pension schemes both in the public and private sector and as a result holds strong technical knowledge on the intricacies of member’s benefits and the different issues affecting them.

As part of a team, Will has worked closely with members of corporate pension schemes conducting analysis and providing advice in respect of consolidating and transferring benefits to appropriate pension plans.

Outside of work Will is a keen triathlete and completed his first half ironman distance triathlon this year. In order to keep things balanced, Will also enjoys socialising with friends over a cold beer and is enjoying honing his skills on the office ping pong table!
